A letter to the Duergar Foreman

Greetings

Earlier today, I arrived at your fine establishment. I was told that you had a fine forge there, but I never expected to see such a brilliant display of craftsmanship and hard work.

You seemed rather busy when I arrived, so I did not have a chance to speak with you. If at all possible, I would like to borrow permission to use your grand forge. I require the strong flame to blow glassware, and if any compensation is required, I will be happy to negotiate the terms.

I hope this letter finds you safely and quickly. -Strife

It has been quite some time since I've sent the last letter, and I'm afraid now it may have been lost.

To restate my reason for sending:

I am Strife, a frequent traveler through your mines. You may recognize me as the wizard in green robes, as I have helped you before on a few occasions. I have been meaning to ask you in person, but it seems I continue to catch you at a bad time, so hopefully this letter will make it safely to you.

I would like to use your forge for glass blowing and glass work. I can provide my own equipment, and if needed, I can provide a magical means to keep the fires going for the duration of my work. For compensation, I am sure I could find some able bodies to assist you, whether in the mines, or if you have another task that could be attended to. I can also offer my assistance before or afterwards at your request.

I am reachable at the Rock Bottom in the Sanctuary nearby.

-Strife
