I ask for your immediate and detailed response, as this is a very grave matter of life and death. I request that you restrict all children in your care to the estate unless directly supervised by a battle-ready adult. I further request that you attempt to provide a list of names for all the children currently in your care, as well as a list of those who have gone missing in the last 3 days.
Four children were found dead in front of Tornbeard Hall as a warning to the Thane. It is imperative that we protect what has become this city's greatest resource. Two were shot in the back with arrows, one had a slit throat, and one was burned by magic.
If you cannot provide a list of names, at least follow my other instructions until further notice. In return, I will keep you updated on all further matters pertaining to this investigation unless otherwise noted.
