I am requesting any and all information on Associate Steelblade's death/capture by Umber Hulks. Where in the Underdark was he attacked, how many attacked him, and in which direction was he dragged?

As you said before, one has to look after their own. I would like to think I did not bring Hector into the Associates for nothing.

Associate Lindgren,

Far to the west, in the direction of Traensyr from Sanctuary, is where we first encountered the Umber Hulks. We had been given a warning by the Seekers, and so we went to investigate.

Asking for the number of those who attacked us certainly gives me a chore. At my nearest estimate, we faced close to 10 of their behemoths, and another 20-25 of their regular forces. At the end of the assault, brought by Amothiewien's quick thinking in leading them through the Thin Road to the Windy Caverns, I attempted to lift Steelblade's body, but a tremor came and knocked him loose and me to the floor. By the time I looked up he was nowhere to be found.

My guess is that he was either carried away or made it away on his own. Regrettably, evidence points to the latter, as his armor was found without him in it.

I hope this letter finds you in good haste and serves to give a better indication of the events of that day. Should it be neccessary, I will forward you Private Barelleon's report on the incident as a whole.
