Could is be possible to have the damage reduction decreased on the evil bat-like creatures that live near the gate? It's very strange to hack your way through groups of large spiders, goblins, and other random nasties to find yourself completly incapable of hurting what looks like a thin black stick with wings.
Draghazer
AFAIK, Draghazers are incredibly large, with their wingspan measuring 6ish feet from tip to tip. They are cousins to dragons/wyrmlings, are mostly rouge, and are pretty dangerous. It's simply an engine limitation that causes them to look as small as they are, but I do believe their size and feriocity is noted on the examine properties.
We need a giant bat model.
Why not use the Gargoyle Model? Its used for the "Bat Monster" in the quest in the Town Hall.
or that, or just a wirmling with the picture of a bat...
I second that. Wyrmlings would look more like dragazhar than bats do.
Are you telling me these things are scaled down!? I don't think I'll be tavelling in underdark any time soon.
Picture Bat-man.
I think this should be locked, and black wirmling with bat pictures seems to do the trick, its up to DMs now. :)
DMs, lock? (I bet this gonna be ignored/not noticed so what the heck?! :P )
Nero...you are SUPPOSED to be scared to travel the Underdark. Especially alone. As for the model, I agree that a wyrmling would probably be more appropriate.
...draghzer are rare its been 3 weeks since i last saw one. then again my chars keep dying and i never really leave the town ....
Okay, so they're supposed to be tough, could they be changed to look like the gargoyae creatures then? At least that way I won't look like a coward running into the city screaming "the bat is here! Flee for your lives!"
I like the change to the wyrmling model, although it takes away from the dread they used to instill in me. I used to think "Ah ha, a single bat. No big deal" then I'd mouse over it and "Dragazhar //you should probably just log out now" would appear. No longer. :(
Well, perhaps, but logically your char should see a giant bat.
Heh, it reminds me of monty python the search for the holy grail, with the rabbit scene ;) "its just a rabbit!"
always examing monsters/objects/placables in EfU is one thing I have learnt. you get a much better idea about the atmosphrere and stuff
Model has been changed.
